Gary ColemanGary Coleman has been keeping his six-month marriage under wraps. The UgandaCitizen has learnt that the Different Strokes star wed shannon Price, 22, on a Nevada mountain. 'Nobody was around but the minister, videographer, photographer, helicopter pilot and us' the cheeky 40 year old said. Gary Coleman got his big break when he starred in the 80s hit series Diff'rent Strokes that was regularly screened on the former Uganda Televison during the 80s. Gary knew at a young age that he would never be tall. By the time he was just five years old, he had undergone three different operations for a congenital kidney defect known as nephritis.

Because of this disease, he would never grow taller than 4'8" tall. Being short didn't stop him from his claim to fame. He appeared in shows and movies such as On the Right Track, Scout's Honor, and The Kid With the Broken Halo, Dirty Work, and The Gary Coleman Show. The cuteness factor he had as a child slowly faded as he grew older and jobs became hard to come by.

He ended up having to sue his adoptive parents for squandering his fortune he made during the filming of Diff'rent Strokes and from his own production company. Gray turned to drinking heavly as he got more and more stressed and cash striken. He got a job as body guard looking after celebrities cars. In 2003, Gary ran for California Governor, but received a little more than 14,000 votes. Gary continues to get small acting gigs here and there, but nothing as powerful as Diff'rent Strokes.

The UgandaCitizen wishes you the best Gary!

hi uganda citizen am a musoga working at the airport if u look at the airpot its ruled by the westerners they even tell u ow they are enjoying the current museveni government.
if i look at the various parties we have in uganda the solution is to combine all efforts at all levels so as to one concrete force that can force the current power to surrender power.
we gained nothing from this government as regards to development cos all what was found has all been squanderd under unclear ways
co-op bank which brought together all stake holders in the farming world was shut down still under unclear circumnstances yet it was never funded by this government ,all funds where got from usaid as the parent financier.
lets all strive to get this government down.
use all the available means to change all electoral mulfunctions at all levels including having members of the opposition included in the electoral process electoral commission inclusive.
use all diplomatic and local means to lobby ...

  • Lawrence Mukiibi  - Hypocicy
Am a muganda by birth and conviction, but i rather get disappointed when Ugandans especially the Baganda when it gets to voting ways, we dont unite to help Museveni out of power well knowing all the atrocities that have been committed to us by him and his "Clique". After the Kasubi saga, its natural to expect the Baganda to do the right thing and vote him; out but you wait and see what will happen all they will talk about is that the "Man" riigged the election yet in the actuall sense they voted otherwise. Lets follow the just concluded Mukono elections, we all know that Bakaluba rigged massively but because he was overwhelmed by the number of votes cast to the extent that even rigging could not help, Nambooze triumphed. So as Baganda lets follow the Mukono story and do the right thing for My Country, Your Country and Our Country Uganda for the sake of our fore fathers, children and the grand generations to follow. We should stop this hypocrisy and also put these int...
