 Speaking on 'Tompalampa' political show on Ngoma radio, Ms Betty Kamya criticised the lack of internal democracy in the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) and warned Ugandans who think the FDC was an alternative to the NRM. The Baganda have been used by many politicians with selfish interets  including Museveni- but those times are over. We are now getting organised and instead of jumping on bandwagons this time we will be masters of our destiny' Betty said. Quized by Mustapha Semanda for having failed to identify the problems in FDC earlier enough Kamya said many people thought Besigye was the alternative to Museveni.
We now know who Besigye is and we are moving on - these mistakes will not be repeated' she said. On the way forward Ms Kamya said that plans are under way to organise a Buganda vote and we will make sure that our interests are represented. The Buganda kingdom wants a federal political system for Uganda however the NRM government has refused to intoduce it withouting giving any clear reasons for doing so. It is also not very clear whether the  FDC seen by many as a break away party from the NRM believes in fair distribution of wealth under the federal arrangement.
On meeting Salim Saleh, Ms Kamya clarified that she confronted Saleh to find out how her constituency would benefit from the micro finances contrary to rumours that she meet him for other deals.
I led the return Besigye' campaign to make sure he returned from South Africa. I used my money to make all those trips and prepared the ground for him. Infact those who claim that i am disorganising the FDC are the ones who opposed his return' Kamya argued.
Kamya said that all she wants is respect for the Buganda Kingdom and a fair representation of the Baganda in the FDC - otherwise our marriage with that party is over.
It remains to be seen as to whether Kamy's suspension or departure from the FDC will damage the party's support in Buganda nonetheless Kamya has a huge following and the Baganda are increasingly turning against the FDC.
The Uganda Citizen has learnt that Museveni ordered the then former minister of internal affairs Paulo Kawanga Ssemwogere to hand over the assasination investigations to Kiiza Besigye. However Besigye has also never fully explained his role or his findings after investigating the assasination of the former leader of Uganda Freedom Movement Andrew Kayiira. Henry Gombya the former BBC journalist claims that before the assasination of Andrew, Besigye warned him against writing unfavourable stories about the National Resistance Movement.

In 1962 Buganda supported Obote's UPC only to turn around to destroy our Kingdom. saying that a good Muganda is a dead one.
During the 1981-1986 Luwero war Buganda lost many lives and property and supported President Museveni only to turn around and divide our Kingdom in chiefdoms of his own creation, Blocking our King from moving freely in his kingdom and humiliating Baganda through closer of CBS radio and asking Buganda to apologise for our dear ones who were killed at the hands of Kayihura on Museveni's orders.
Like Tinyefunza when Dr. Kizza Besigye when faced with probllems both men run to Mengo to pretend to be on our side only to turn against us after assuming power. Tinyefunza who donned a KANZU and went to Mengo is now the one heading the destruction of our Kingdom and am VERY sure Dr. Besigye will be worse.
We need to understand these fellows, DR. Besigye and the majority of the top NRM people more especially the Bakiga and Bairu (Kahinda ...
